A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I am a journey-centric product designer, driven by a passion for creating scalable, intuitive, and emotionally intelligent experiences. My design process is grounded in research, iteration, and collaboration—leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to define the problem, exploring solutions through ideation and prototyping, and refining designs through testing and iteration. Throughout, I prioritize accessibility, business alignment, and storytelling, ensuring that experiences are not just functional but meaningful.
Before stepping in UX, I rolled up my sleeves and got my hands dirty—literally. My journey began in the culinary world, where I honed creativity from every delicious angle, pairing that passion with a designation in holistic nutrition. These experiences shaped my ability to think systematically, adapt quickly, and craft end-to-end experiences that leave a lasting impact.
I have always been drawn to art and creativity—from soapstone carving to charcoal sketching, I spent years taking art lessons at The McMichael Art Gallery, experimenting with every medium imaginable. Today, I still enjoy getting messy in the kitchen, connecting to my roots by making fresh pasta using my grandmother’s old-school pasta maker.
I also have a deep sense of adventure—I love to travel, embracing new cultures, flavours, and perspectives along the way. I consider myself a food tourist, always seeking inspiration through immersive experiences. Beyond design, I am an avid puzzler, fitness enthusiast, devoted dog mom, amateur photographer, cancer survivor, pool shark, and renowned karaoke queen.
I thrive in cross-functional collaboration, tackling complex, ambiguous challenges through human-centred, iterative design. Seeing the direct impact of thoughtful UX—whether improving accessibility, increasing engagement, or enhancing brand perception—is what excites me most. Good UX is intuitive, inclusive, and emotionally intelligent—it removes friction, guides users seamlessly, and aligns with brand storytelling to create lasting connections.
